Participants wanted

We are looking for farmers lambing Southdown flocks in the UK between January – June 2026 to participate in our study.

Purpose of our study

This study is aiming to record how well Southdown ewes lamb in comparison to other breeds in the UK. We are hoping to identify any common issues with lambing Southdown’s and identify areas where improvements can be made in the future.

What would be expected of you

You will be asked to complete a questionnaire about how you generally keep your flock, and another questionnaire to complete throughout the duration of your lambing period to record any complications that happen.

All data and personal information will be kept secure and anonymous in alignment with UK General Data Protection Legislation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
