There are two Official Society Sales which benefit from a pre-sale independent vet and society inspection, a pre-sale show, minimum weight requirements and upset prices:
Saturday 2nd August - The Society’s Premier Sale at Worcester Market
Saturday 13th September Traditional & Native Breeds Show & Sale at Melton Mowbray Market (pre-sale show on Friday September 12th)
In addition there are two additional “unofficial sales” organised by members:
Saturday 26th July 2025 at 12:30pm - The Eastern Region Early Breeders’ Sale at Thrapston Livestock Market, Northamptonshire, NN14 4JU
Saturday 26th July 2025 at 12:30pm - The Early Breeders & Rare Breeds Sale at Hailsham Market Sussex BN27 2AG
And finally there is the
Annual Dolphin Sheep Fair at the Ardingly Showground on 18th Sept 2025 where breeding females and store lambs may be on sale
Shearling* Rams and Ewes for Sale
My main focus this year is on selling stock at the unofficial Eastern Region Early Breeders Sale at Thrapston Sat 26 July. However, I have a selection of up to 40 shearling ewes and 12 shearling rams from the Webb Ellis and Heritage flocks (*all still unshorn) that are currently available off farm.

The cost of placing an advertisement on the website is £10 per advert.
All adverts will include the flock name, breeder's contact details including telephone number/s and email, and a brief outline, totalling no more than 475 characters, including spaces, of what is available for sale.
Descriptions may include pedigree information or other relevant details, including show results and one photograph is included within the £10 charge. Additional lines of text (no more than 125 characters including spaces) may be purchased for £3/line and additional photographs can be added for £3/photograph.
Where breeders wish, they may also submit a private catalogue of their animals for sale in pdf format to be included with their advert at a cost of £25. All catalogues must include wording which indemnifies the Society.
