Southdown members and friends gathered at North Hele Farm in Devon on Saturday September 20th for an informative and sociable Field Day, helping hosts Adam & Caroline Brown celebrate the 60th Anniversary of their Gunton Flock.

Southdowns were much in demand at the Southdown Sheep Society’s second sale of the season at Melton Mowbray on September 12/13th.

For the first time since the Covid pandemic, the South West Southdown breeders got together on March 2nd for a very enjoyable Sunday carvery lunch at the The King’s Arms Inn, Tedburn St Mary

Having kept a few Southdown fleeces back from last summer’s shearing, I was wondering what to do with them.
