National Southdown Show heads to Malvern for 2014

The 2014 National Southdown Show will take place at the Three Counties Show, Malvern, on Friday June 13th2014. Exhibitors may arrive any time up to 0800 on June 13th, and may depart on Sunday afternoon at a time to be announced by stewards on the day. 

Entries are accepted from MV Accredited and non MV Accredited flocks, with a total of 10 classes to enter. These include a new class for a single ewe lamb, untrimmed (may be washed, but not carded or trimmed in any way). All those who exhibited at the 2013 National Show will automatically receive a schedule and entry form in due course. The judge will be Brian Glaves of the Brompton flock, North Yorkshire.

There will be a Drinks Reception and trophies awarded at 6.00pm on June 13th, in the Farmers’ Bar near the sheep lines. All animals are welcome to take part in the daily Grand Parade, with each handler receiving £5 to participate.
