Blakesley Show

Lesley Mead entered five Southdowns in the non accredited breeding sheep classes - two ram lambs, a pair of ewe lambs and a ram. Most of the sheep forward in these classes were Continental breeds- Beltex, Texel and Charolais. We had a Fourth with one of the ram lambs. At first we were disappointed but on reflection we did well against these continental breeds. One exhibitor complimented us on taking the Southdowns.
