The Southdown Sheep Society is managed by a Council whose members are elected by members at the Annual General Meeting and serve a 3 year term. Council members act as Directors of the Company and as trustees of the charity.

The Council is chaired by the Chairman, elected by Council members. An Honorary President is elected annually by Council and attends meetings of Council.
